Silver Skis Chalet, weathered by over 50 years of rugged conditions and extensive use, necessitated significant structural rehabilitation. Employing a design-build approach, our team embarked on a comprehensive project. The endeavor encompassed shoring activities, along with the demolition of exterior courtyard balconies and roof overhangs, as well as deteriorated structural elements including columns, beams, and stairs. Post-demolition, HHJ executed the installation of new footings, steel columns, and beams, complemented by the implementation of heated staircases to mitigate snow accumulation. Additionally, exterior pavements and pool fencing were replaced to align with current code specifications.

With time being of the essence, particularly given the constraints of the impending winter months, swift and precise execution was imperative to ensure project completion before the onset of ski season. HHJ orchestrated operations with utmost efficiency, ensuring minimal disruption to Silver Skis Chalet’s operations, thereby enabling a seamless start to their seasonal activities.
