The Oldcastle Masa expansion project will result in upgrades to the plant’s concrete block production system. With the new excavator block machine foundation, the plant will be able to produce landscape blocks and pavers more efficiently. The cement blocks used during this project were 26 feet tall and bulletproof, plus there were rails installed that allow for rolling onto layout blocks. The implementation of the kiln means that blocks can cure in 10-12 hours, so the new production system will only further speed up the process. This industrial project showcases our ability to improve current systems and support businesses in upgrading their practices.
